Thankfully, We Have Awesomeness in Our Corner

“God said of Jesus Christ, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased– Matthew 3:17. When God said that His Son is beloved it was because God was well pleased with Jesus, and today God is also well pleased with us because we, too, are beloved of God. I John 3:2 quotes Beloved, now {not someday off in the nebulous future, but right NOW} are we the sons of God. We ourselves are Beloved of God Himself. However, without Christ, without knowing him, we would never be able to elevate our believing up to the standards that the healing Word presents to humanity ― or affectionately feel truly beloved by the God of Heaven and Earth. Ephesians 5:1-2 reads, BE ye therefore followers of God as dear {or beloved} children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour. The word dear in the Greek Text is the same word beloved which word is used in both Matthew 3:17 and I John 2:3 (above). We are as beloved to God as Jesus is ― according to God’s very own words! The more we see Jesus Christ as the Beloved of God, the greater he will show to us how beloved we really are to him and to our heavenly Father, for (as we read, above) Christ is the standard.” ~LMJ & CAJ~
