The Strength and Power Behind Prayer

Strengthened with all might, according to his {God’s} glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness– Colossians 1:11. God has most definitely given to His children power, spiritual power and although at times we may not feel all that powerful, or think that this could possibly be true, it is true!  Patience and longsuffering with joyfulness are God-given qualities of life that prove to our minds that we have the spiritual power of God. God’s strengthening, glorious power is known to believers through patience, for this patience allows God to manifest His power to us. We have been given longsuffering which is spiritual endurance to have continued inner trust to know that when we need something, even if it appears beyond our own abilities to receive, we will not give up in our believing with prayer, but rather we can have continued trust that God will answer our prayers. In all this there is joyfulness because we will see the strength and power behind prayer, and our believing in God’s healing Word will continue to grow.” ~LMJ~
