God Is Light!

Written by Larry M. Jaynes:

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter” (Isaiah 5:20).

God tells us what is good, “Good is the word of the LORD” (Isaiah 39:8).

God tells us what is light, “God is light” (I John 1:5), and “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple {the humble}” (Psalms 119:130).

God tells us what is truth, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” (John 17:17).

God tells us what is sweet, “How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth” (Psalms 119:103) ― all else is something else.

God questions in Ezekiel 18:25, “Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal? The word equal is a word used for that which is balanced perfectly right and justly, as God’s way which is equal resets the equilibrium back into the repentant heart of fallen man so that he may be right with God and righteous with Him Who is always right and righteous with you.

John 1:1-5:
1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2: The same was in the beginning with God.
3: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4: In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5: And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

I John 1:5:
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
