Mission Statement

Our Statements of Faith:

  • We believe:  That Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He is the Savior and Redeemer of our lives.
  • We believe:  That by confessing Jesus as our Lord and believing that God has raised Him from the dead, we become saved.
  • We believe:  That God is our Heavenly Father, that Jesus Christ is our brother, and that we are individual members of the family of God.
  • We believe:  That God gives to us a renewed spiritual love through the completed work of our Savior, Jesus Christ's life, death, resurrection, and ascension into Heaven.
  • We believe:  That the more abundant life is enjoyed proportionately to our manifesting the love of God.
  • We believe:  That Jesus Christ will return from the right hand of God to take us up to Heaven, and that this gathering together is the greatest hope ever given to the Church.
  • We believe:  That God offers humanity unconditional love and forgiveness, and that He covers our shortcomings with His grace.
  • We believe:  That the Prophets wrote the Scriptures for God, and that the Bible is the Word of God, and that the Epistles are written to God's Church of today.
  • We believe: That God loves you!

Message

"THE truth of the Lord's coming runs like a golden thread from Genesis to Revelation. It is not a new doctrine, but an old truth . . . May we see how full the Scripture is of it, and how it runs like a golden thread." William G. Carr / June 1894

"Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee" Deuteronomy 16:17

"The Constitution of the United States is like the mechanism behind a grand timepiece, setting all the constellations in place, empowering them on their separate courses, and helps set the science of governmental order that generate the country's smooth order of progress. Next to the Scriptures, the Constitution is the greatest document ever written, and for those who do not believe in the Scriptures, they are still left with the Constitution, the greatest document ever written." L.M.J.

"I have held many things in my hands and have lost them all . . . But whatsoever I have placed in God's hands - that I still possess." Martin Luther

"Daily prayer offered in the name of our risen Lord and Savior places one in the receiving line, and initiates the ebb and flow of spirituality." L.M.J.

I Corinthians 15:5758:
-57: But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
-58: Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

The word stedfast means to be fixed or settled as beloved brethren (in the Lord). The word unmoveable means to remain firm in our commitment to be beloved brethren (in the Lord). The word abounding means over or above the norm to stand and work with the beloved brethren (in the Lord). The word vain means empty, for our labor, as beloved brethren will manifest rewards – abundantly, and thus, we will not come up empty for laboring (in the Lord). God always blesses and gives us more than we could even ask or think as we stedfastly walk in the Lord.

Ephesians 3:20 (The Amplified Bible):
Now to Him {God} Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].

He Is Risen "The Word in the believer's heart resounds that Christ has surpassed the death of the cross and "he is risen" (Matthew 28:6), the Word of the day is "he is risen" (Matthew 28:7), the Word of the year is "he is risen" (Luke 24:6), the Word of the century is "he is risen" (Luke 24:34), the Word of the ages is "he is risen" (Acts 2:24)the resurrection is the very essence of the hope of the ages, for without it, man has no hope (Romans 8:11, I Corinthians 6:14)! "Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him"―Mark 16:6. "It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us"―Romans 8:34! "This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven"―Acts 1:11." L.M.J.
