An Honest Question

“An honest question for some people is, how do we know which Church or what group of people is truly founded by God? For some people the answer is obviously clear, the one to which they belong! And this is actually true because all believers have received an unconditional and eternal salvation in the sense that God Himself always looks on the heart rather than at the denomination or the group to which we might belong. For the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart– I Samuel 16:7. God is all love and according to His Word, anyone who is saved belongs to Him for eternity because God is no respecter of persons or groups — anyone, anywhere, under any circumstance can become saved and become a member of His household. We become members of the body of Christ (I Corinthians 12:27), and we may fellowship with whomever we desire. God is your Father and He is blessed when you are blessed, He is never upset simply because you go somewhere to learn more about Him Who does counsel and comfort in your deepest spiritual thoughts.” ~LMJ~

God’s Wonderful Word

“God’s wonderful Word is such a healing comfort to His children as we come to Him with a heart to want to discover His healing, comforting will for our lives (II Corinthians 1:3-4). His Scriptures are truly written directly to the heart rather than the head, and when the heart of man opens to the wisdom and guidance of God’s Word, His Word begins to grow within the hearts of searching (and receiving) men and women, young and old, as true spiritual revival awakens from within. God’s words are set like precious treasures, waiting for us to discover and accept them into our hearts and receive the blessings contained therein that have been prepared for us before the world began (Ephesians 1:3-4).” ~LMJ~

Hope is Sort of Like

“Hope is sort of like having a life insurance policy underwritten by the bank of God (offices located only in heaven), and delivered to you by God’s agent, Jesus Christ, and you, yes, only you will be doing the collecting! Oh what a glorious day for you to anticipate, the day when you gather up all the dividends you have coming, and mind you – with accumulated interest – talk about a hope, talk about a rollover – wow – you will be rolling over with extreme joyfulness! Thus, we are encouraged to comfort one another with these words- I Thessalonians 4:18.~LMJ~

The Greatest Hope

“How many Christians are there who feel almost reticent or guilty just for being a believer, or embarrassed because they go to church, or ashamed for being associated with others who are of their same belief who have wrongfully abused their religion? But on the other hand, the Apostle Paul taught, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth- Romans 1:16. Hope is what invigorates the believer to stand with God and fellow believers through adversity, and to help us endure the difficult times in life, because we have been given the hope of a blissful future. The greatest hope that the Christian has is the return of Christ to gather us up together with him in the clouds, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words- I Thessalonians 4:17-18.” ~LMJ~
