Christ in You

Written by Larry M. Jaynes:

The Church Epistles reveal many wonderful truths to the believer, and the Apostle Paul was given the New Testament truths concerning the administration of God’s divine grace. God called Paul to be a minister of Jesus Christ, to reveal to God’s Church new light that was never made known before the day of Pentecost in Acts chapter 2. Jesus had said in the Gospel of John 16:12; “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.” Those things were finally given to Paul and he revealed them to us throughout the Church Epistles.

Colossians 1:25 – Whereof {in the revelation of God’s Church, which is the body of Christ, and in him we are members} I am made a minister, according to the dispensation {administration} of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

Paul was given the revelation that even Jesus Christ in the Gospel period could not reveal to the believers, but Paul in grace was given what we can now carry in the heart of our understanding, which information would “fulfil the word of God.”

Colossians 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

The mystery was given to Paul, and Paul shared the information regarding the mystery with fellow saints, fellow believers. The mystery literally is that believers, Christians, are members of the spiritual body of Christ. Ephesians chapter 3 reveals to us “whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ” (Ephesians 3:4). Paul’s job was to make the mystery clearly understood, and as believers began to understand it, then, and only then, would God reveal even greater truths directly to His children by inspiration and by direct revelation.

Colossians 1:27 – To whom {His saints} God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

What is it to have “Christ in you?” Many people may think that they can explain this to you; however, my Bible, and every other Bible clearly says that God Himself makes known the full extent of the riches of the glory of the mystery, which is having Christ in you. Everything Christ is, is in you, his love, his power, and his standing at the right hand of God which is our riches in glory in Christ with God! Only God, and God alone, can inspire your heart with heavenly inspiration and divine revelations giving you perfect understanding to personally know the “Christ in you!”

The word “Christian” means Christ within; this is not a symbolic term, but rather it is a spiritual reality that we absolutely have Christ within. Paul in the Epistles fulfilled his ministry and his calling by making known the mystery of the oneness of God’s Church, the body of Christ of which we are all members. As we continue believing and understanding this magnificent revelation, God Himself, as the inspiration and Creator of life, goes to work revealing within our own hearts His riches within us, His Christ within us, His spiritual seed that continues growing within.

This is our eternal gift, and the hope of our future glory to be with God in heaven with Christ for eternity.

May our God continue revealing to you the true riches of His glory, the “Christ in you!”

The Hope of Humanity Is

The hope of humanity is in the return of Christ to appear with him in glory, always has been and always will be our hope until Christ returns for our gathering together up to meet him above in the clouds! However, for now our God has given us the assurance of our heavenly standing in glory with Christ at God’s own right hand (I Peter 1:7), which is recorded throughout His Word. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory– Colossians 3:4.” ~LMJ~

A Helmet for the Hope of Salvation (Of the Redemption of Our Body – Romans 8:23)

“I Thessalonians 5:8 encourages us to, let us, who are of the day {i.e., enlightened by God’s Word}, be sober {minded}, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. This helmet is our future hope of salvation, for hope encourages the mind of the believer to take the helmet of salvation– Ephesians 6:17 into our lives to the point that we are assured of our eternal destiny. This helmet helps to protect the mind wherein your believing emanates, for when doubts come at you about your true destiny of redemption, the helmet, your hope of salvation, is given to you to prevent those outside distractions from penetrating or disheartening your God-given hope in your future glory to ever be with the Lord (Colossians 3:4).” ~LMJ~

The Right to Our Justification

Written by Larry M. Jaynes:

In the Bible Byte titled The Right to Our Reconciliation we studied that Jesus died for our sins so that we may be reconciled back to our heavenly Father. Nevertheless, when we Christians focus all our emphasis on Jesus dying for our sins, we can miss so much of the spiritual truths, for Christ Jesus was also raised up. The spiritual life that we now have with our God is specifically based on the truth that Christ was indeed raised up, completing the work of salvation for humanity. It is in the completed work of Christ in which we now have our complete justification of life, eternal life, and this is the underlying theme of the Church Epistles.

Romans 4:25 – Who {Jesus Christ} was delivered {unto death} for our offences {our sins}, and was raised again for our justification.

He was raised for our justification. Justification is a legal right that God now gives to His children because Jesus gave, offering himself for our sins and carrying our sins to the cross. He was the propitiation – the completed payment for our sins as he died for our sins. Then three days later, he was raised so that God could give us justification in obtaining our eternal life. Justification means just as if we have never sinned for our sins have been purged. We are permanently justified to accept the life that God can now offer us because of the completed work of Christ.

Hebrews 1:3 – Who {Jesus Christ} being the brightness of his {God’s} glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he {Jesus Christ} had by himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Jesus Christ was God’s ambassador to the world, “for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). The word purged means the complete purification of sins (our sins), thus when Christ was raised up to the right hand of God, our compete justification was freely offered to us as a spiritual and legal right to stand pure before our heavenly Father.

Everything that Jesus Christ did while here had purpose and reason; nothing was done by happenstance. His mission was to redeem man completely so that he could present us to God completely free to walk in God’s grace. We have obtained heavenly ordained rights for we are permanently sanctified, redeemed, righteous, reconciled, and justified to accept our deliverance, and our Savior from sin.

I Timothy 2:5-6:
-5:  For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
-6:  Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Jesus Christ was the complete ransom for all the people in the world, and it certainly is due time that his finished work is attested to simply by our daily living it. We can humbly accept in thankfulness all that he has done, and fearlessly walk with God, having our complete justification of life to a greater dimension than was ever known or realized before our receiving God’s healing Word.
