Using the Name of Jesus Christ

“Using the name of Jesus Christ in our prayer life is not a form of magic like saying abracadabra, and then some kind of magical trick is performed, nor is it sleight of hand for an illusion. Using the name of Jesus Christ, when spoken on the lips of believing Christians, unveils the actual power of God Himself so that God in Christ in us becomes manifested in our daily living. Jesus Christ has made available to us certain inalienable rights that can never change or be taken away from us such as our sanctification, our redemption, our righteousness, our reconciliation, our justification, and our continued forgiveness. These are the believer’s birthrights when we become saved (born again), for we have received everything that Jesus Christ made available by the sacrifice of himself, and now we are presented purified to our heavenly Father by Christ Jesus and given his name to undersign/cosign our prayers that will go to the Father, that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you- John 15:16.” ~LMJ~
