Crowns Galore with Grandeur and Gala All Around!

There are many treasures that become the believers’ simply because they belong to God, such as eternal life (I John 5:10-13), and being heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). There are also treasured crowns that we can receive in heaven for our believing actions that we take on God’s healing Word today. The Bible explicitly states that there are at least five spiritual crowns which each believer may receive by following the instructions and guidelines written in the literature of eternity!

The crown incorruptible is received by having self-control over our lives, being Word‑conditioned rather than world-conditioned.

The crown of glory is received for being respectful to our fellowman, especially towards other believers whether they are in a leadership position or not.

The crown of life is received by our believing in the truth that God does not tempt us, and this can be thoroughly understood by studying God’s approval of us in the Scriptures.

The crown of righteousness is received by our loving the return of Christ for us, for by loving the truth that he is coming back for us is a godly perspective.

The crown of rejoicing is received by our bringing a lost soul back to Christ, by sharing and witnessing about Christ’s loving example of giving his life ─ for us.” ~LMJ~

The Crown of Rejoicing

Written by Larry M. Jaynes:

The crown of rejoicing is by far the greatest crown in the sense that we may partake of the joy in the here and now. The crown of rejoicing that we can receive when Christ returns is given to us for winning lost souls to the Lord Jesus Christ. Whenever someone whom we have witnessed to becomes saved, the joy that we will experience can at times become so overwhelming that we almost feel that we need to ask God to cool it down some because our hearts can bubble over with inner spiritual joy.

It is so exciting and thrilling to our hearts whenever someone actually believes the words that come from out of our hearts and mouths regarding the wonderful healing Word and will of God.

This wonderful action of speaking up causes us to become so thankful that we ourselves have received our own personal salvation, and we experience the same thrills that the people we witness to experience when they finally believe themselves in the Word that works effectually in anyone who believes.

I Thessalonians 2:13 – For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye receive it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that {do one thing and one thing only:} believe.

When we simply accept the Scriptures as the actual Word of God, and we believe them, then the Word begins working effectually within our lives. When we share this wonderful Word of God that we believe to someone else and they believe, then the Word will work equally as well for them.

This, my friend, is what brings so much joy into our lives, not to mention the crown of rejoicing that will be given to us when Christ returns. There are no requirements as to how many people we can share God’s Word with, even if we simply introduced one person to Christ in our life we will receive the crown of rejoicing.

I Thessalonians 2:19-20:
-19: For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? {The people Paul witnessed to who believed him will also be brought into “the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming.”}
-20: For ye are our glory and joy.

Over the years God has been presented to people in a most negative way. Some people threaten the unsaved with the supposed wrath of God, preaching hellfire and condemnation to bring others to the point of accepting Christ. This is totally wrong and shameful to share God’s Word in this manner because God is love!

I Peter 4:10-11:
-10: As every man {believer} hath received the gift {of salvation}, even so minister the same {gift} one to another, as good stewards of the manifold {abundantly diverse and ever growing} grace of God,
-11: If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God {utterances and declarations of God’s manifold grace}; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever.

When we present God in the favorable light of His healing Word, then we are truly striving according to the rule book of life. No good thing will God withhold from us who share of His salvation and grace, and in return we can know in our hearts that the people we bring to the Lord will cause our hearts to rejoice with “glory and joy!”

Philippians 3:20-21; 4:1:
-20: For our conversation {our citizenship is the Text} is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ;
-21: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious {and resurrected} body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things {he is able to bring all those who believe} unto himself.
-1: Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

When Christ returns for us we will enjoy the privilege of being the sons and daughters of God who live in the heavenlies with Christ. We shall receive glorious new bodies and we will enjoy our heavenly citizenship with those whom we have rescued from this world.

When that glorious day comes we can receive the crown of rejoicing for being faithful witnesses and stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Many Crowns

Written by Larry M. Jaynes:

There are many treasures that become the believers’ simply because they belong to God, such as eternal life (I John 5:10-13), and being heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). There are also treasured crowns that we can receive in heaven for our believing actions that we take on God’s healing Word today. The Bible explicitly states that there are at least five spiritual crowns which each believer may receive by following the instructions and guidelines written in the literature of eternity!

These are the crown incorruptible, the crown of glory, the crown of life, the crown of righteousness, and the crown of rejoicing*.

Revelation 19:12a – . . . His {Christ Jesus} eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; . . .

“His eyes were as a flame of fire” does not mean that Jesus’ eyes were burning, rather the word “fire” represents a spiritual cleansing because Christ in the Book of Revelation returns to cleanse all that he sees. “And on his head were many crowns,” this represents authority, power, and majesty that he has in many areas or categories.

For instance, some of the Kings of Egypt had several crowns, one for upper Egypt, another for lower Egypt, and others for other regions that Egypt conquered. Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords, he has conquered the realms of darkness, and in the Book of Revelation he is the King reigning upon the entire earth, and it is he who cleanses his kingdom.

Hebrews 12:2 – Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith {believing faith}; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is {now} set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jesus Christ endured great suffering on his cross, yet he looked beyond the moment, beyond the suffering, and beyond the shame and looked to the end result that all his work would accomplish.  Jesus also had so much joy in his life to be walking with God, sharing His Word, and blessing His children, and he finished the work God gave him to do. Remember Jesus said, “it is finished” when he was dying on the cross in John 19:30?  What was finished? The redemption for all humanity!

In Luke 2:49 Jesus, as a boy, said, “I must be about my Father’s business,” and when all of his Father’s business was completed Jesus said, “It is finished.” God, his Father, rewarded him richly, giving him the privilege to be the King of kings and bestowed upon him many crowns.

In Hebrews 12:2 (above), we are instructed to look to Jesus as he is our perfect example of how to walk with God.  God’s Word shows us how to receive many treasures ─ and at the end of this life we, too, can receive many crowns like our example, the author and finisher of our believing faith, Jesus.

Revelation 3:11 – Behold I come quickly; hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

“Hold that fast” means to watch over, to take care of what we have worked for. This warning comes with an exhortation “that no man take thy crown.” The question arises: How can someone take away one’s crown? Colossians 2:18 reveals, “Let no man beguile you of your reward.” The Amplified Bible quotes this as “Let no one defraud you by acting as an umpire and declaring you unworthy and disqualifying you for the prize.”

Unlike eternal rewards and spiritual blessings that have been given to us because of the work of Christ, the spiritual crowns that we can receive are earned by our steadfast believing in and doing what God’s Word instructs. However, if someone tries to teach us that we are totally unworthy to receive God’s blessings and future crowns, then they obviously know more than God Himself Who has made us worthy and equal to the task of receiving these blessed crowns.  God’s will is for each believer to receive the crowns, which He desires for us to have for eternity.

Romans 14:13 – Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

We certainly can help one another receive the crowns, however, each believer is responsible with their own actions to put in the actual effort and believing that will afford us the joys of receiving them. The crowns are eternal and will grant us great riches, responsibilities, and privileges in the next life.

Our heavenly Father designed an easy way to receive these crowns, which can help us to daily walk with great power and understanding as we look to Jesus.
